RHOA Star Phaedra Parks’ Husband Apollo Nida Arrested And Charged With Bank Fraud And Identity Theft

'A Mother's Love' Phaedra Parks and Apollo

Not even reality TV show producers can make this stuff up!

It’s only been five years since Phaedra Parks’ husband Apollo Nida was released from jail for selling stolen vehicles and he has been arrested again on charges of bank fraud and identity theft!

According to Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the man is suspected of creating shell companies, all for the sole purpose of stealing people’s personal information, which he then used to steal their identities and open up bank accounts in their names. The accounts were then padded with stolen retirement checks, U.S. Treasury checks and and all other kinds of stolen checks. Damn!

And just how did Apollo get himself caught? Well, no good criminal organization is complete without a “right hand b*tch” and that’s exactly what a woman named Gayla St. Julien says she was, until she told on Apollo.

Apollo and Gayla

After getting arrested for illegal criminal activities related to bank fraud, Gayla dropped a dime on Apollo and implicated him as the mastermind behind the whole operation! She allegedly started working with Apollo in 2009 (after he was released from jail), and says he would steal people’s identities via his fake businesses, which included a car dealership, and her job was to pretend to be the victims in order to open bank accounts. Then she would deposit the fake checks into the accounts. The Feds’ investigation into Gayla found that she had over 40 bank accounts tied to her name, with a total of $3 million linked to them!

As if it wasn’t bad enough for Apollo, they have him on tape!  Gayla worked with the Feds to record conversations with Apollo and apparently he spilled all the tea!

After turning himself in on Thursday, U.S. District Judge Gerrilyn G. Brill released Apollo on a pretrial bond of $25,000. He’s due back in court for a preliminary hearing on February 12th.

FYI: This is bad news for Apollo! He is currently on parole! Back in 2004, he was convicted of racketeering and served five years out of an 18-year sentence before he was later paroled in 2009. Which means if everything Gayla says is true, it’s a wrap!

He’s bold for being on national television, knowing he was doing some real shady business behind the scenes.  What happens in the dark always comes to light!  Yikes!
